A number 1 with a lit candle next to article cards, celebrating the first anniversary and blog launch

Today Totbits Solutions turns one year old. We are celebrating with something we have wanted to do for a long time: a technical blog showing how we truly build software.

While our company is young, our engineering craft is not: behind Totbits are two engineers with more than a decade of experience each designing mission-critical systems for banking, insurance, and automotive sectors. Systems relied upon by thousands of active users every single day that cannot afford unplanned downtime. That background shapes everything we do at Totbits: how we architect systems to endure load, how we execute seamless zero-downtime migrations, and how we decide what not to build.

From our headquarters in Alcúdia, Mallorca, we apply these engineering standards to businesses and independent enterprises locally and internationally. Our work includes custom platforms such as the Almeebar ERP, our AI purchasing agent that parses and posts supplier invoices, and the BIT suite for project management, recruitment, and industrial maintenance.

What you will find here

We write about real engineering challenges we solve daily, backed by production code and concrete operational metrics whenever available. Our posts span two tracks:

  • Business: tailored for technology leaders and executives deciding where to invest capital. Real-world automation economics, key questions before commissioning custom software, and pragmatic assessments of when artificial intelligence delivers real ROI (and when to avoid it). No hype, no buzzwords.
  • Technical: written for software engineers and systems builders. Deep dives into architecture, third-party integrations, stack trade-offs, statutory requirements like VeriFactu implemented in code, and battle-tested lessons learned operating production systems.

To get started

We are launching the publication with five initial articles:

Thank you

To our clients who placed their trust in a focused, agile engineering team for high-stakes projects, and to everyone who has supported our journey so far.

If you have a complex software challenge or a legacy system that has outgrown its capacity, let’s talk. You will speak directly with the senior engineers leading the implementation.
